Deception Pass SP to Kitsap SP

This was the most difficult 63 miles that I have ever ridden. Some of the climbs go for miles, great scenery though. I rode with a lady from Idaho, weight 105 lbs. I have to do these rides at my pace, not hers!
Tonight is my night to cook. The menu consists of green curry with Organics wax beans, broccoli, and green beans over rice. All would be impressed.

Larrabee SP to Deception Pass SP

The scenery in NW Washington is breathtakingly awesome. The snow covered peak is Mt Baker. The bike climbs are amazingly difficult-19%,and 21% the past two days. There are Ten people in my group.

Another cool rainy day!

It has rained two of the three days I've been here(what drought?). I made it to the start point quite early. I left the LUXURY of Motel 6 for this.

Today is PREP day.

Picked bike up yesterday at bike shop, had to walk about 5 miles to the shop. Today is packing in my Motel 6 room. On the road, with Waylon and Willie in the morning. Have to ride to the start point by 3pm Tuesday. Bellingham, and all of the coast here are becoming retirement Meccas. Pretty cool-nice climate!

Dry, warm weather? In Bellingham,WA!

Have been checking the weather along my route for weeks. Forecast was for clear, 55-75 temperatures.
WRONG today-49 degrees and steady rain, real hypothermia weather. Oh well!
Glad I'm in Motel6, and Tom left the light on for me.
